Limmie "aka Howard" Howe was born on April 9, 1929 in Mer Rouge, Louisiana, the son of Frank A. Howe and Lillie Harris who both preceded him in death.

After servicing in the Army, Limmie moved to Los Angeles, California where he met the love of his life Myrtis Gene Proctor in 1958. They were married on June 6, 1959 were they settled in the city of Los Angeles where they raised their family.

Limmie was a driver for the Yellow Cab Co. prior to him starting his own construction business known as Superior Maintenance Co. In his spare time, he loved to ride his Harley Davidson Motor Cycle and played pool were he participated in several tournaments and won.

He ran a successful business for 40 years until he retired in 2003 to devote his time to his wife and family. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and sitting on the front porch interacting with his neighbors and helping out within the community. Also, he was a true Lakers Fan who appreciated going to the Laker's home games with his daughter.

On June 3, 2018, the Lord called His faithful servant home to rest. Limmie was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Myrtis Gene Howe. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his sons and loving daughter; Curtis Hines, Frank Hines, Yulonda G. Howe and Brian K. Howe, daughter-in-law; Linda Hines and Linda Mobley-Howe, grandchildren, Karen, Anitra, Curtis Jr., Doris, Frank Jr., LaVetta, Starletta, Marquise (wife: Shantice), Iesha and a host of great-grand's, nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
