With sadness but deep comfort we share news of the death of our beloved Mother, Adeline Perez Vigil. She died in the comfort of her home Jan. 5th. Preceded in death by her husband Ellis W. Vigil. She is survived by her ten children: Andrea, Margie Trejo, Williams, David, Nicholas, Esther Suen, Juanita, Timothy, Ramona Supan and John Vigil, and 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Adeline was an avid gardener and a talented artist who specialized in seed, acrylic & watercolor paintings of flowers. She crocheted and handcrafted beautiful needlework her entire life. She was an excellent cook and passed this passion on to her children. An active member of Saint Leander's Parish, the door of her warm and loving home was always open to welcome family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday January 10th from noon to 8:30 PM with a Vigil Service starting at 4:00 PM at the Santos-Robinson Mortuary 160 Estudillo Ave. San Leandro. A procession will leave the mortuary Monday January 11th at 9:30 AM going to St. Leander Church 550 West Estudillo Ave. for the Funeral Liturgy starting at 10:00 AM; burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
